Founded in 1998
Zeezen was founded by Henrik Hansen in 1998 with a vision to create jewellery where design, material and function work in harmony. From the very beginning, titanium has played a central role – chosen for its lightness, strength and distinctive character.
Our design philosophy is rooted in a fascination with simplicity. We believe the strongest forms are often those that do not need to demand attention. That is why we work with clean lines, carefully considered proportions and subtle details that give each piece its own character.

A Part of Fanø
Today, Zeezen has a close connection to Fanø, where our flagship store is located and where much of the inspiration for new designs begins.
The island’s nature, changing light, the Wadden Sea and the distinctive sense of calm on Fanø create space for new ideas. This inspiration is not necessarily translated directly into shapes or motifs, but is reflected in the atmosphere, simplicity and details of our jewellery.
Fanø has therefore become more than just a place for Zeezen. It is part of the brand’s identity and the way we approach design.
